ZERO G
By
Chief Swift Eagle
I want to see the children fly
To leave behind their chairs.
I'd Like to see them soar and glide
Move up without the stairs.
I know in zero gravity
The lame can be set free.
In Space a jet pack serves for Legs,
So each can plant a tree.
Space gives its fruit of freedom
To all God's children
Who, can leave this Earth
So they can soar
Among the Heavens too.
The children greet with twinkling eyes
No sob fades their sighs.
The road to space is their road too.
