General Scholarship Information
Scholarships are offered in varied amounts to help students who have a NEED for financial assistance. No Student receives a 100% Scholarship. The Trustees of International Theological University have decided that all students must pay some tuition. Students who have demonstrated Excellent Academic Performance, Community Service or worthiness by devotion to their Religious Vocation may be granted Scholarships up to 50% of the usual tuition.
The Key is NEED. Worthy students will not be granted scholarships if they have sufficient resources to pay the usual tuition.
All Students must complete the regular university application process. A Request for a Scholarship may be made as part of the usual application.

Students must be accepted to the University to receive a scholarship.
Request for
Scholarship:
· All individuals who request a scholarship must demonstrate
o Academic Worthiness
o Social Worthiness
o Financial Need
o Evidence that other resources are not available
· No scholarship will be granted to pastors, leaders of denominations, heads of congregations or to heads of non-profit organizations because their own membership should be willing to pay tuition if their leader is worthy
· All students are required to pay some tuition. No student will be granted a Full Scholarship.
o The Maximum Amount of any Scholarship is 50% for individuals who qualify.
Student must provide to the University:
Offered scholarships must be accepted, in writing, within thirty days after the scholarship is offered or the Offer is VOID.
Students who consider applying for a scholarship should be aware that International Theological University receives thousands of request for scholarships each year. Most applicants are worthy individuals who have served the Religious Community for many years for very little compensation.
Individuals who have other resources should not request a scholarship from International Theological University. Funds are limited. (Scholarships may not exceed $5,000,000.00 at this time) The scholarships should be left for students who have a genuine NEED.

Serving your Community as a Minister or Priest provides great satisfaction because you bring the Sacraments to those in need.
Ordination is Available To All Students Who Receive A Bachelor Of Arts Degree Or Higher (Ordination Is Optional and there is no Fee or Tuition Charged for Ordination)
Individuals seeking Ordination:
Must be adult graduates of International Theological University
May be of any Gender, Race or Nationality
Are not required to take a Vow of Poverty
Are not required to take a Vow of Obedience
Are not required to tithe
Are not required to take a Vow of Chastity
(do not have to give up sexual intimacy)
Must be Persons of Good Character
Must be without Criminal Record
Must be a person with reliable credit record
Must be a person with good reputation within their Community
Must be a person with an excellent employment history or self-employed

Ordination - with a Bachelor of Arts Degree or Higher from International Theological University
Ordination as an Independent Protestant Minister (A Protestant Ministers may be married and have a family)
Ordination as a Buddhist Priest (A Buddhist Priest may be married and have a family)
Ordination as a Native Shaman or Priest (A Native Shaman or Priest may be married and have a family)
Ordination - with a Doctoral Degree
Orthodox Native American Catholic Church AKA: Keepers of Creation Priest (A Keepers of Creation Priest may be married and have a family)
Anglican Episcopal Priest (An Anglican Episcopal Priest may be married and have a family)
Catholic Priest (A Catholic Priest may be married and have a family if Ordained as MNCC Priest)
Orthodox Priest (An Orthodox Priest may be married and have a family)
Consecration with a Juris Doctor - Theologian Degree
Orthodox Native American Catholic Church AKA: Keepers of Creation Bishop (A Keepers of Creation Bishop may be married and have a family)

Catholic Bishop (A Catholic Bishop may be married and have a family if Consecrated as MNCC Bishop)

Religious Orders:
Individuals who have a Vocation to Serve as a "Religious" may be consecrated to serve as a Monk, Nun or Brother.
Individuals who are led to establish a Religious Order may have their Rules Reviewed and obtain Approval from the Metropolitan/Archbishop of the Orthodox Native American Catholic Archdiocese

Individuals may seek Counseling and Free Help to establish independent Churches and/or Missions
