PLASMA RAPIDS

Way beyond the vast beyond
Toward the warp on star stream rim
The plasma currents' gentle swirl
Moves us nearer galaxies dim.
Black Holes transfer light to dark
As boulders they appear.
Star Ships with their courses set
Try not to pass too near.
Between the Black Hole boulders
Within Galactic pond
They navigate the Plasma Rapids
To light drive and beyond.
Surfing planetary wake
Solar sails flung wide.
Astro-Arks, the seeds of Man
Are sprinkled now with pride.
Asteroid miners grapple ore
And reroute orbits so--
Space resources without limit
Can help Space Cities grow.
Come shoot the Plasma Rapids
Light transfer is a thrill.
The Universe awaits us all
And we should not stand still.
