Students should select 4 classes of one foreign language and 4 classes in a second foreign language to earn 40 credits in foreign languages.  Note: You must complete 20 credits in one language and 20 credits in a second language.

Students may use internet resources, recordings, video programs and native speakers to help them to learn to read, write and speak the language.  Evidence of the Student's Mastery of the Language will be through a proficiency exercise with a native speaker of the language.  Students will have to write an essay discussing a work of literature in the language and they will have to submit a video tape of them discussing their work on the paper for a native speaker who will evaluate the video tape and essay.
