Hear the ticking
Tic toc, tic toc
Hear the ticking
Of the clock.

Tic toc, tic toc
Tic again.
Wherever did
That song begin?

Why can't the rhythm
Change to toc tic
Of incessant tic toc
I'm getting quite sick.

How 'bout a clock
That goes bump-de-boom
At least tic toc
Would not fill the room.

Tic toc, tic toc
Tic toc, toc tic
I heard that you silly clock.
You just skipped a tic.

Now you're saying
Toc tic, toc tic
It's so much better
To hear toc tic.

I can live with that rhythm
Without getting sick.
No more tic toc.
Just toc tic.
