BIG B00TS
By
Chief Swift Eagle

I met a four year old with boots
For climbing, stomping, kicking.
He was ill-mannered, pushy, crass.
He needed a good licking.

"Do not kick!" I scolded.
"Those boots will hurt, you know."
When I held him back,
A tantrum he would throw.

I warned, scolded, distracted him.
Nothing stopped his kicks.
Then an inspiration struck.
I looked into my bag of tricks.

I'd stop this little Napoleon.
I'd trim him at his roots.
The very next time he kicked someone,
I'd just take off his boots.

He kicked his bare toes.
He tried his oft' used ploy.
But, this dictator has been reduced,
To an angry but very small boy.
